Grace has been practicing Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine for many years. Graduating with distinction from RMIT, she has worked in Scotland, Melbourne and Castlemaine. Ongoing professional education continues to build and refine her skills.
A trained Doula (birth attendant), Grace has a passion for women's health, fertility, pregnancy and post-natal care. Grace also has a particular interest in preventative healthcare, treating digestive disorders, and emotional imbalances. Grace brings a gentle attentiveness to treatments, paying attention to the symptoms at hand whilst working to address and rebalance the underlying cause. Her practice is informed by studies in gentle Japanese acupuncture techniques, encouraging the body to engage its own innate healing capacities. Treatments encompass acupuncture and herbal remedies and may include personalised lifestyle advice including dietary and exercise recommendations. She is passionate about empowering clients to maintain wellbeing and prevent disease.
"It's a deep honour to support people to enhance their wellbeing. My practice centres around treating people to remove the blockages that inhibit their path to wellness and empowering them to maintain this."
Grace is nourished by time in nature, bushwalking, ocean swimming and pottering in the garden. Laughing with friends, playing the cello, dancing, and singing bring her joy. A lifelong learner, Grace is currently studying a Masters of Health Science in Spiritual Care. She hopes to one day complete a cryptic crossword.
