As we farewell Dr Miriam Reynolds this month, we are thrilled to announce that Dr Maggie McKenzie will be joining the chiropractic team at Flourish.
Dr Maggie McKenzie graduated with distinction after 5 years of study from RMIT University with a Bachelor of Health Science (Chiropractic) and a Masters of Clinical Chiropractic. She has spent the past few years working in a practice in country Victoria: the very same practice where she was first adjusted many years ago and where her passion for chiropractic began.
Drawn to Chiropractic as a teenager, Dr Maggie became very interested in the neurological benefits of chiropractic care when she experienced fabulous results for headache and netball injuries! A keen netballer, she was always at the chiro for post match recovery adjustments.
Dr Maggie has a keen interest in working with individuals of all ages and families to achieve optimal health. She embraces the holistic chiropractic approach of looking and treating the body as a whole.
Being an active volunteer with Lord Somers camp and Powerhouse, she is the leader for a camp with refugee and migrant youths. In her spare time, she is an avid skiier, amateur sewer and loves a great book. On the weekend, you’ll find her exploring the streets of the inner west, trying to tire out her two english staffies.
Commencing July, Dr Maggie McKenzie will be joining the dynamic team of gentle SOT Chiropractors on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
