Smoothies

How fantastic are smoothies?! So versatile and easy when on the run…for kids and adults. You can prepare them the night before and leave them in the fridge ready for the next day. How easy is that?!

Smoothies are great for adding the things that kids do not like to eat…spinach, supplements, avocado…it’s time to get sneaky!

 

Monster ‘Juice’

• 2 cups spinach

• 2 cups kale

• ½ cup fresh mint

• ½ cup orange juice

• 2 kiwi fruit

• 1/3 cup blueberries

• 4 tblsp ground flaxseed

• 2 tblsp cocoa

 

Banana and Berry

• 1 banana

• 1 cup frozen mixed berries

• 1 cup dairy milk or soy or coconut milk

• ½ tsp cinnamon

• ½ cup spinach

• 1 tblsp honey

Coconut and Chocolate

• ½ avocado

• 100 ml coconut milk

• 1 tblsp coconut oil/butter

• 2 tblsp chocolate drops

• 1 tsp cinnamon
