super-green spring smoothie

Makes 3 – 4 glasses and is much tastier than it sounds 🙂

1 handful of baby spinach or lettuce

2 stalks of kale, stalk cut off and leaves cut into small pieces

1 green pear

1/2 green apple

1/2 avocado

1/2 cucumber

Juice of 1 lemon

1/2 bunch of parsley or mint (I think the mint is fresher)

2 stalks celery

1/2 cup filtered water

1 tbsp chia or hemp seeds *

1 heaped tsp spirulina *

Place ingredients in a blender and pulse until well combined.

Pour into glasses, add some ice and serve.

*Optional ingredients to super charge your day.
