14 day toxin reducing program
Spring has arrived so what better time to do a detox. Detoxing doesn’t have to be difficult, you can achieve the same results by doing few simple things such as:
Avoid
Left over foods
Cheese/yoghurt
Peanuts/peanut butter
Red meat
Fried/oily foods (eggs, sausages, hot chips)
Processed meats (ham, bacon, salami etc)
Bananas, avocadoes, grapes
Tea, coffee, iced/shilled beverages, iced water, alcohol, soft drink
Refined and processed foods (cake, biscuits, ice cream, chocolate)
Reduce
Bread – try a different grain such as spelt or kamut
Pasta/noodles – preferably fresh
Milk – try oat or rice milk in smoothie
Favour
Fresh foods, recently cooked
Steamed vegetables/salad
Fresh vegetable soups
Well ripened fruit (two pieces)
Basmati rice only
Small amounts of chicken/fish
Herbal teas
Drink lemon juice in water each morning before breakfast
Sip hot water 1 cup 2-3 times a day
Sip hot ginger tea (1/8 ginger powder) or T2 Detox tea after meals
